How do I start a game?
On the home screen, tap the game you want, for example Truth or Dare. Type everyone’s names, choose who you are playing with (Friends, Couples, Party, Family or Office) and tap Start game.
Do I need an account?
No. There is no sign-up, email or password — just type the players’ names. Everything you set up stays on your phone.
Does Darezo work offline?
Yes. Every game works offline. The internet is only used for optional extras: online rooms, card packs, the daily challenge, new downloaded cards and card reports. You can switch these off in Settings.

How are cards chosen for my group?
The group you choose sets the cards. Family and Office are clean and work-safe, Friends and Party are cheeky, and Couples is romantic and spicy for adults (18+) once everyone confirms they are 18 or older. If anyone is under 18, choose “No, keep it romantic” and Darezo plays non-spicy couples cards.
Will we get the same questions again?
Darezo remembers, on your phone and by player name, which cards each player has heard, and gives everyone at the table fresh cards first — even across games. It also avoids cards that only reword one you have already seen.
What do “Different card” and “Skip turn” do?
“Different card” swaps the card but keeps the same player’s turn (a limited number per turn, which you can change in More options). “Skip turn” gives up the turn with no points. “Did it” or “Answered” scores the card: a truth is 1 point and a dare 2.
Where are the extra rules?
Before you start, open More options to change the card language, spin the bottle or take turns, play truths or dares only, choose when the game ends, play in teams and more. All of them are optional.

How do we play on our own phones?
Tap “Play online with friends” on the home screen, type your name and tap Create room. Share the room code or invite link; friends enter the code, or open the link, to join. The host chooses the game and starts it.
Someone in a room is being offensive. What can I do?
The host can remove any player with the Remove button. Any player can tap Report next to a name to email us the room code and name, and we review every report within 24 hours. Offensive names are refused automatically.

How do I report or hide a card?
During a game, tap “⋯ More” on the card, then “Report card” or “Never show again”. Hidden cards can be brought back from My cards › Hidden.
What data does Darezo collect?
Anonymous usage statistics, such as which games are played, to improve the app — you can switch this off in Settings › Privacy. Your players, your own cards and your progress never leave your phone. The privacy policy has the full details.
