1. Licence
QuantumPlug Technologies LLP grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Revive on Macs you own or control. If you got Revive from the Mac App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. Please do not copy, modify, reverse engineer or resell the app itself.
2. Your files
The files you scan and recover are yours. We never receive them and claim no rights over them. Use Revive only on drives, folders and disk images you own or have permission to examine.
3. Recovery is not guaranteed
Whether a file can be recovered depends on what has happened to the drive since it was lost. Deleted data may already be overwritten, fragmented, encrypted or physically damaged. Revive reports what it finds and rates its condition, but a file rated Good may still not open, and a file Revive does not find may still exist. For data that matters, stop using the affected drive, recover to a different drive, and consider a professional recovery service for failing hardware.
4. Read-only scanning
Revive opens the sources you choose read-only and does not write to them. You are responsible for choosing a safe destination for recovered files; recovering onto the same drive you are trying to recover from can overwrite the data you want back.
5. No warranty
Revive is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not promise that it will be error-free, that it will find or fully recover any particular file, or that recovered files will be complete.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, QuantumPlug Technologies LLP is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, for lost or unrecoverable data, or for decisions made based on scan results. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for Revive.
7. Changes & governing law
We may update the app or these terms. We will post the updated terms with a new "Last updated" date; if you keep using Revive after that, the updated terms apply. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live and may bring claims in your local courts.
